What is MobileStar?
MobileStar is a web based diagnostic and monitoring tool that has two distinct levels of use.
Global management service level
• Displays all active machines using a Google map.
• Enables instant alerts, GPS data, Uptime tracking, Geo-Fencing and reporting options.
Dashboard Level
• Displays machine specific data, including but not limited to: Engine data, Pressures, Temperatures, Switch states and Machine Parameters
How does MobileStar work?

MobileStar can be customized for just about any application where remote access is needed, or where monitoring of vehicles or machinery is a must. The customization capabilities of the MobileStar componetry is vast and almost limitless.
The costs associated with the configuration, depend on the customization level of the components. The best way to find out what is needed for your application is to consult with a Dakota Fluid Power MobileStar representative.
MobileStar is a natural addition to fleet owners with multiple assets in the field. Whether it be an Agronomy Center or a heavy construction company; MobileStar is the solution to monitoring the vehicle’s mechanicals; to knowing where in the world the vehicle or asset is currently located.
Where is the Data coming from?
How is the data getting to MobileStar?
Through a series of sensors, the data is collected in the components. The data is then transferred via cellular or wi-fi to a server (computer) and displayed on the monitor of the individual needing to monitor the machinery.

MobileStar features ultimate, two-way communication. The end-user can simply dial in each machine to locate, troubleshoot, secure, turn on or off, or create “ultimate performance” capabilities of each machine. Or, if the end user wishes they can simply deploy custom dispatching for logistical cost saving solutions. Any vehicle, anywhere in the world can be remotely accessed from a central point in another part of the world! All that is needed is a computer with an internet connection and a machine equipped with a compatible MobileStar control system. If you can access the internet…from anywhere…you will know what your machinery is doing; wherever it may be in the world!
The Interface
The MobileStar has a “user friendly” interface, allowing easy familiarity with the components.
The MobileStar dashboard is rich in graphics that combine animations associated with numbers to allow quick, easy monitoring and ease of use.
Security can be an issue…but not with MobileStar. The Geo Fencing capabilities of MobileStar allow GPS tracking of any vehicle in your fleet. If any vehicle or machine is out of the prescribed area of the job site or transit area, it can be immobilized or certain functions can be disabled; such as a sprayer not being located in the right field for an application. If the prescribed data does not coincide; the sprayer will not function.
